Frankly Insure is an insurance intermediary. That means we arrange insurance on behalf of an insurer, but are not the insurer ourselves.
2. The products
We arrange insurance, for example cover for electronics and bicycle insurance. Your actual cover is set out in the insurance conditions, your policy schedule and the Insurance Product Information Document (IPID), which you receive when you buy and can find at franklyinsure.com/en/conditions.
The policies are underwritten by an insurer. Which insurer covers your policy is always stated in your policy schedule and the insurance conditions. Our current insurers are:
Wakam, 120-122 Rue Réaumur, 75002 Paris, France (VAT no. FR 59562117085) - a non-life insurer supervised by the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR), France, under no. 4020259.
ANV Nordic AB, Linnégatan 14, 114 47 Stockholm, Sweden (reg. no. 556671-5677) - an insurance intermediary/MGA supervised by Finansinspektionen, Sweden (ID no. 46331).
Frankly Insure handles claims on behalf of the insurers. Details of guarantee schemes, such as the Danish Guarantee Fund for Non-life Insurers, are set out in the insurance conditions for your product.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown before the purchase is completed and are stated in Danish kroner. Insurance premiums are exempt from VAT.
The insurance is paid monthly. You can pay by payment card or MobilePay. When you pay by card, your card details are stored securely with our payment partner so the recurring payments can be taken. Frankly does not store your full card details.
The insurance is an ongoing subscription. The specific terms of the subscription, including the recurring payment, any free period and how you cancel, are set out in our subscription terms, which you accept when you sign up.
4. How the agreement is made
You can take out the insurance in one of our partners' physical stores, in their webshop, through a link you receive after your purchase, or directly with Frankly. The insurance is always a separate purchase, apart from the purchase of the product being insured.
The agreement is made once you have accepted the subscription terms and completed the sign-up. You then receive a confirmation and your insurance documents at the email address you gave us. All communication is in Danish.
5. Right of withdrawal
You have a right of withdrawal under section 34 i of the Danish Insurance Contracts Act. The period is 14 days from the date your policy schedule was issued. It does not start to run until you have received information about your right of withdrawal and cancellation, and about the insurance benefit, by email.
If the deadline falls on a public holiday, a Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, you may wait until the following working day.
You exercise the right of withdrawal by writing to shopper@franklyinsure.com before the deadline.
Claims reported in the first month of cover, including any free period, are covered whether they happen during or after the withdrawal period.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your insurance at any time. There is no lock-in. You cancel by writing to shopper@franklyinsure.com or through your customer page at my.frankly.insure. The detailed terms are set out in the subscription terms and the insurance conditions.
7. Reporting a claim
Report claims as soon as possible at franklyinsure.com, by email to claims@franklyinsure.com or by phone on +45 70 60 44 40. The detailed terms and deadlines for reporting are set out in the insurance conditions.
8. Complaints
If you want to complain about the purchase or about how the insurance was arranged, you can contact Frankly Insure at shopper@franklyinsure.com or by letter to Frankly Insure, Nyhavn 63B, 1051 Copenhagen K, Denmark.
Complaints about claims handling should first be sent to claims@franklyinsure.com.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can complain to:

9. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. You can read more in our privacy policy. The insurer's processing of personal data is described in the insurance conditions.
10. Governing law and venue
The agreement is governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be brought before the Danish courts, and shall be heard by the Copenhagen City Court.
