Subscription terms

These are the terms you accept when you take out insurance with Frankly.

They cover the subscription: payment, the free period and how you cancel.

In force from 3 August 2026

You are taking out a subscription

When you complete this purchase, you are taking out a subscription to an insurance policy. The first month is free, and after that the amount is charged to your payment card on an ongoing basis until you cancel. So it is not a one-off purchase.

The insurance is arranged by Frankly Insure ApS (CVR no. 42626449), an insurance intermediary.

First month free

Your cover starts immediately, and the first month is free. You can cancel at any time during the first month and you will not be charged.

Payment

The price is shown at the point of purchase and is charged each month to the card you provide. The first payment is only taken once the free month has passed, and then automatically at the start of each month until you cancel.

Your card details are stored

So the recurring payments can be taken, your card details are stored securely with our PCI DSS certified payment partner. This happens at sign-up, even though the first month is free. Frankly does not store your full card details.

How you take out the subscription

The insurance is always a separate purchase, apart from the purchase of the product itself. You can take out the subscription in several ways: in the store, where a member of staff can offer it and explain it, in the webshop during checkout, or after your payment on the receipt page.

However you do it, the subscription is only taken out once you have actively chosen the insurance and accepted these subscription terms by ticking the box. Your cover starts immediately.

How you cancel the subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, either by writing to shopper@franklyinsure.com or through your customer page at my.frankly.insure, where you log in with your email and a one-time code.

There is no lock-in. If you cancel during the free first month, you will not be charged. If you cancel later, cover applies for the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged after that. Your insurance cover ends at the same time.

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14 day right of withdrawal under section 34 i of the Danish Insurance Contracts Act, counted from the point when you received information about the insurance and about your right of withdrawal and cancellation by email. You withdraw by writing to shopper@franklyinsure.com before the deadline.

Any claims reported in the first month, including the free period, are covered whether they happen during or after the withdrawal period.

Receipt

Once you have completed the sign-up, we send a confirmation and your insurance documents to your email. You also receive a receipt for each monthly payment.
